Arohanui!!!!:)
Hey what's up everybody?! :) Great to hear from you all and once again I'm so grateful for all your love support and prayers!! Sounds like everyone is doing absolutely awesome!! And congratulations to Heather and Chris for their new baby girl Sierra!! Welcome to the world Sierra!!! :) Oh the family is just expanding I'm lovin it!! :)
This weak was an awesome week just as they always are!!! Lot of incredible things happened this week! Miracles all over the place!!! :) So we ended up saving heaps of souls this month! The missionaries are all incredible and I have very much enjoyed serving with them they're awesome!! We were blessed to save 32 souls!! :) Cheeeehooo!!!! So that was very fun to see that all unfold!! Very busy weekend! And the week was busy as! We had heaps of trade offs again which is always fun! I just love the missionaries in this zone so much they've been so fun to work with! Monday night one of our main fellowshippers, Eli, had his last FHE with everyone!! He's leaving to the Marshall Islands! He's the man I love the guy to death!! I was with this little butterball who is samoan his name is Elder Maota! He's the man we had a really fun trade off! Oh by the way that night we went and saw Lillie our recent convert and she's already going off on her plans to serve a mission!! She's incredible and we're jokin around we're like na you need to get married and have babies! But she was like no way that is gonna have to all wait until after I serve the Lord! :) She's awesome aye?! They're just p;owerful converts and they're onfire right now! :)
The next day we just went back to work and kept workin as always!! And than we started another trade off that evening with Elder Hibbard and his companion! Elder Hibbard is the man!! We had so much fun on our trade off!! Great missionary he's hilarious goodness gracious!! And during our tradeoffs we got to go on splits with the MTC missionaries again! WOOO!! That was fun!! We had some really funny missionaries from Fiji and some other island i've never heard of!! Awesome elders! Than the weekendstarted and there was heaps of baptisms! All saturday we were traveling from one baptism to the other! So much fun i love getting to see all these baptisms! :) Even some last second miracles where people were set to be baptized the night of and on sunday morning! Just massive tender mercies from the Lord all over the place it has been wonderful:)
Sunday was a good day as well! Though we've been doing heaps with all the missionaries, serving them and helping them, our area has been struggling a little bit! So not many investigators made it to church this weekend.. But we had some massive feeds later with bishop!! haha and a really good fireside that Sister Perry and Taotua put on in their ward! It was SOO good!! :) But besides all that there is not much to update ya on!! Transfers is this thursday and we gotta go pick up some missionaries from Sky City in downtown Auckland today from a bus stop! We're not allowed to go there except for this purpose! So this will be the closest I come to sky tower EVER!! So that's exciting!! and... I dunno what else! Oh our awesome brazilian couple we've been teaching took off to brazil for 4 weeks so don't know when I'll see them again!! Um.. We have some really keen new families we're teaching so that's been really fun!!! :) Well once again I love ya'll!!! And hope you have another awesome week!! May God bless you all and pour out his love and his blessings upon all of you!!! LOVE YOU!!!!! :)

Alooooohaaaa!! April 22, 2012
Hi everybody!!! :)
How are you all doing?! I'm doing absolutely wonderful!!! It's been another great week! Just super busy as always!! I hope and pray that all is going wonderful back home and that you're all doing awesome!! Thanks once again for all your love, support, and prayers!! I miss you all very much!!! So let's get into it shall we?!
So this week was really good! Pday was super fun! we tried to go bowling but it didn't work out like we wanted it to! But we played some ball again which was really fun as always!! And than that night was good with some lessons and other such things! On tuesday we had a trade off with our Assistants again! That was pretty fun I went with the new assistant Elder Jensen and we experienced miracles as always!! Manna from Heaven!! :) This last week was super crazy! Just trying to help all the missionaries baptize all their investigators!! haha there was 16 baptisms throughout the zone!! So that was SUPER fun!!! ALL Saturday we were just going from baptism to baptism and our food was the feeds after the baptisms that sustained us!! haha :) But ya this week was super busy doing heaps of those interviews and getting things all ready for the weekend! And we had another trade off with a companionship on thursday! Actually coach Whittingham's son!! The Utes coahes son is in our zone!! haha mean aye?! So that was a fun trade off!!!
After that went on another trade off friday night with my good man Elder Whipple i love this guy so much and that was really fun as well! Tried to save his sets who have been playing up! So we'll see how that goes!! And than Saturday that was baptism day!!!! :) Baptisms all day long!! So much fun!!! :) the zone has been doing very well! We're looking at breaking the zones personal best from over a year ago! So that's exciting!! All the hard work is paying off!! :) It's just so much fun being a part of this work and witnessing miracles!! I love it more than anything! And another miracle!! So Elder Whipple went and visited Junior and Allison the other day and they were talking to them and it's for sure they're going to the temple a couple of days after my birthday a week before I come home!!! :) So I'll be able to make it!!! Yay!!! I was hoping that maybe it could be in that week that mom and dad are here and we can all go witness their sealing together!! How awesome would that be?!?! So ya things are going good here!!! Not much to report besides all that!!! Just having fun saving souls!!!! Well I miss you all very much and hope you have another fantastic week!!! I LOVE YOU!!!! :)

April 15, 2012 Kia Ora!!
Hi everybody!!! :) It's Elder Devey once again!! How is everyone?! I hope you're all doing awesome and that you have had an awesome week as well! I miss you all and love you all very much as always!! That's never changing!! Thank you all for your support love and prayers! I still need them that's for sure!
This last week was an incredible week!! It was so much fun and we experienced so many miracles! :) Last pday was pretty fun! Just played some volley and basketball with members again which was cool! On Tuesday we had a trade off with some elders and that was super fun! I was with this Elder from Samoa, he's a good man! We found a super keen family that is the nicest family I've ever met they're way cool!! :) So we had a really good day on our trade off! Wednesday was a really good day as well as they all are! The members are feeding us like crazy here though! It's kind of scary! haha just ya'll better not make fun of me when I get back home!
Than that night we began another trade off! This time I was taking Elder Whipple in our area again! :) That was WAY fun!! I love Elder Whipple to death he's the man!! We had a super fun time! That night just went crazy with us having to run around to other zones to do some interviews and whatever else and it got super crazy! Really stressful night! The days in this area have just been insane with how busy we are! It's not even funny! And the days just blink by!
The next day we got to have interviews with our mission President which was pretty good:) Nothing to complain about. That night was a lot of fun as well! Every night it's almost like we have lessons with and see all of the same people! I love the people we're teaching here so much they are all so awesome oh my goodness!!
Than Saturday was the day we had all been waiting for!! :) In the zone there was quite a few baptisms so we were busy all day running around to all the different baptisms:) The Tongan's ward was a massive baptism oh my goodness! And than they even took us all to this seperate place to have a massive feed(fiafia). And missionaries are like royalty here so they put us at the head table with all the old people with heaps of pigs in front of us it was crazy! haha ill send some pics! I felt really weird up there that's for sure!! So much food it's not even funny!!
Than that night we had our baptism for my favorites Ally and Lillie!!!! :) It went SOOO good!! They're some of my all-time favorites that's for sure! A lot of members showed up to support so that was nice! I'll never forget that baptismal service.. It was way fun!! I got to baptize Lillie and Elder Afa baptized Ally. Than we switched on the confirmation on Sunday. The service was mean, it had all these musical talents and even President Lekias was there and he spoke. Ally and Lillie bore sincere, powerful testimony:) They're so incredible! It's very humbling when your converts have stronger testimonies than you.. They gave up and sacrificed so much to become members of the church as well.. And because of their sacrifices you would think that things would be hard for them, but I have never seen happier people in my life! Their entire countenance has changed and they are so happy!! Though they've given up so much, even family, they're loving life and what's to come it's amazing!! And our YSA is awesome here so now they have heaps of friends and support, it's so good to see!! They were probably the funnest investigators to ever teach! After so many miracles in that small period of time teaching them the Atonement of our Savior has transformed both of them to someone new.. It was so amazing to see and to witness.. I'll never forget my experience and the memories with Ally and Lillie and D. Ally and D will be getting married in about a months time and they're setting their sights on a temple sealing!!! :) We made a deal that either I would come back here to theirs or I'll get me my wife and they'll come to Utah and we'll all get sealed at the same time!! haha :) They're the coolest!!!
Talking about sealings! I heard from my old ward that Junior and Allison are planning on getting sealed at the end of August now.. Right before I go home!!! :) So there's a chance I'll be able to go to it!!! That would be so incredible, right there at the end of the mission... So we'll see!!! :) But ya Ally and Lillie and D are so awesome!! Hopefully I don't leave the area because if i stay than I'll be able to go to that wedding!! So we'll pray for that!! Confirmations on Sunday were very fun as well! Than sunday night they came to a fireside with us! Where Gary Wilkinson, a basketball player from utah state is here playing for the NZ Breakers and won a championship last year. He spoke at it, it was VERY good!! Fun fireside and it's always good to hang out with our best mates!! :)
So this last week was one of those weeks that makes it ALL worth it!! How I love this work!! I never want to leave!! :) May you all have a wonderful week and may God be with all of you!!!!! :) I LOVE YOU!!!!!! :)

Easter Sunday April 8, 2012
Aloha!!
Hey there everybody!!! :) How is everyone doing?! I hope amazing as always!! I miss you all heaps!!! It's been far too long!! haha But oh how I love you all very very much!! Thanks once again for your support, love, and prayers in my behalf!! It is very much so needed!
So this week was another great week! goodness how they fly by! Last pday was really fun! Played basketball with heaps of members it was way fun! It's been along time since I've played ball so I was a bit rusty! All goods though! That night was really good as well we had some really good lessons. On tuesday we raced around to all of the District Meetings doing the usual! Trainings are actually pretty fun now! I used to hate speaking in front of people but it's pretty fun now, I'm still no good at it though! That day we also got to go and pick up Elder Dyumthi from the airport again for our Zone Leader Council on Wednesday. it's always fun having him here with us! He's the man he's hilarious! We had a really fun night that night with a district blitz:) All the missionaries paired up with missionaries they haven't worked with before and we all went nuts for the evening! Even Sister Lekias came and a senior missionary Sister Percell:) It was way fun they had a good time! It was funny to see them out and working with us it was awesome!! So that was a fun night!! Than we had to wake up early to take off to North Shore for our council again. Had to wake up extra early because we all didn't finish all the things in time so we needed to go print things off so we were up way early it was rough! This week 3 times we had to wake up at around 5!! :( So that sure took it's toll!
Zone Leader council was really fun:) Learned some awesome things and had a great time as always! Fun to be around all those other missionaries they're all pretty awesome! The next morning was one of the mornings we woke up super early again! And it's along story of why but we had to help our investigators Ally and Lilley with something. They're so solid now by the way!! Oh my!! Ally's boyfriend is moving out today and they're wedding date is on the 17th of next month so hopefully I get to stick around to see that! They've been such a miracle since the beginning! They're all good on the Word of Wisdom as well, they have thrown everything away!! They've also talked to their families who did reject them and persecute them for their decisions being strong in the Catholic faith so that was hard for them but baptism is all that matters for them now after that miracle we witnessed that morning. President Lekias even came and that was awesome as well! :) They've overcome HUGE obstacles in the last few days and are now just incredible... It's humbling when your investigators have a stronger testimony than you!! They''re so awesome!! So their baptism is this weekend at 7:) Can't wait!! They can't either!! haha it's been amazing to see the physical and spiritual change that has occured as they've applied the atonement in their life... They've been so much fun to teach and it's been absolutely amazing being able to be a part of it!! So things are going awesome with them now! Just got to make sure that D has for sure moved out tonight! lol But besides that they are very solid!!! :) That day we also had MTC tradeoffs again!! Which is always way fun!! It's good to be around brand new missionaries full of faith and desire! So that was fun!!! Our little portugese family is doing great as well! So things are going all good with these investigators of ours and I just love them all so much!!! It's amazing how much you start to care and love these people! It's been amazing!
On Saturday we had to help with an emergency transfer! :( That was sad because the missionary in our zone is the man!! So it wasn't our missionaries but missionaries elsewhere. That was tough because I really liked the missionary in our zone he was the man!! That night we finally got to watch one session of General Conference!! Our ward had temple week this whole week so they were all in Hamilton. So they put all of conference on Sunday basically! We had priesthood session which was at 6 in the morning! :( and conference from then until 5!! haha it was AWESOME!!!! :) I love conference so so much!!! Our portugese family and Ally, Lilly, and D and all of them came to a few so that was really good!! They really enjoyed it! :) I loved conference wow it was incredible!!!
Than last night we had a feed with some Tongans and they just destroyed me!!! Attention is always on the Palangi and they love to feed the missionaries especially white boys!! So I at more than I have ever have before it was insane!! Still feeling the effects!! But that's an everyday thing here in the Pacific!! Just eating to your limits it is fun!! :) haha I'm tellin ya I have gained quite a bit and it's really sad!!! So don't make fun of me when I get back!! Instead of losing the weight right before I come home I think I need to make the most of the island food as possible so I'm gonna go hard to the end!! :) Sorry momma!
This last week was a good one!!! :) Probably the biggest miracle I have ever witnessed in my life happened with Ally and them that morning but it's something I don't want to share because I hold it sacred:) But it was incredible... I know this work is true and that the Priesthood is real! This is his church and there is no doubt about that! I love serving him and my brothers and sisters and I love you all very much!!!!! :) Hope you have a wonderful week!!
God Bless!!! I LOVE YOU!!!!! :)

Malolele!!!! :)
Hi everybody!!! :)
Guess I'm back here again! Great to hear from all of you! Always good to hear and feel of the love and support from home!! You're all awesome and I'm so grateful for each and everyone of you!! This week was a really fun week! Monday was a super fun pday! We finally played some sport! Played the volleyball with heaps of islanders! Anything better?! I say no!! haha it's so funny playing volley with them! It's like Niue all over again! They just laugh the whole time! Especially when the palangi messes up they mock you like none other!! haha I"m white I can't help it! After pday the whole northland, my old zone Whangarei/Kaikohe came and spent the evening with our zone. I was with an awesome Elder and we had a super fun night with some awesome lessons. We got some really cool people that we are teaching right now I'm just loving it!
Then Tuesday we had our temple trip!!! :) What a blessing!! While on the mission being able to go to the temple! It was so great and helped so much.. Oh how I love the house of the Lord.. It was another incredible experience and it's really sad that it's my last temple trip.. But oh well the church is still true and forever will be!!! :) I am a witness of that!! So that was a very special day!!! Super stressful getting everyone there in the morning oh my goodness! And this companionship doesn't have a working phone right now so we had no contact with them and they barely made it literally last second before the bus left! But the temple trip was super fun! We sat next to President and Sister Lekias the way up there and that was fun just chatting with them a bit:) After the temple trip we came back and went back to work!
The next day was really fun! I think every day's fun! That's something that I have learned about the mission is how important attitude is! Everything is what you make it to be that's for sure! In the morning we did some service for some of our investigators:) I love this family to death! You shall hear more of them here in a bit! They're so great! Next day was another good one! Just working hard! Elder Afa is the craziest little tongan I have ever met!! He chases people down all the time and sometimes it's almost creepy how he talks to literally everyone!! He doesn't let a soul go by without hearing our message to the world! It's awesome! The second I park the car to do something he's already down the street talking to someone in a car or something! haha Though he has his language barriers none of that stops him! I love him to death! My little tongan man! :)
This saturday something wonderful happened!!! Somebody that I taught back in Papatoetoe finally got baptized!!! Whoooo!!!! :) The elders there now only taught her once the whole 6 months he has been there! Since I was there missionaries haven't taught her too much because the dad wasn't allowing the baptism! But finally a miracle occured and the dad's heart was softened and he allowed it! Mean aye?! So that was a super fun baptism because the ward had been waiting on it for ages as well and prepared for this one for a long time! So all the tongans brought a massive feed with pig, fish, taro, the works!!! All the wonderful islander food!! And it's also so much fun just being able to be back in my old ward almost every week!! They've been baptizing like crazy there! So that was heaps of fun being at that baptism! We actually baptized her Mom Isabell when I was in Papatoetoe! Oh how I love this worrk!!! :)
We had a pretty amazing experience with blessing an investigator's house the other day! I can testify that the priesthood authority and power are real... That's for sure!! Yesterday we were invited to go to the stake PMG class and close our fast with all of them! That was fun and was a really good feed! Because these are the guys that come out with us all the time! I have come to love these guys very much they are so awesome! One of them, Sisi Tupou, actually just got set apart last night and is leaving today to Guam! :) He's the man! I'm gonna miss that guy!! At the end of the night last night right before we headed to the flat we had a lesson with the Haas family. That little couple from Brazil that we found not long ago. They are the nicest people I have ever met in my entire life oh my goodness!!! They feed us everytime we come! They offered for us to stop paying for our flats and to come live with them! He wants me to play on his soccer team! haha They come to church every week and anything we invite them to do they love to and they say they know it's true!! So last night we extended the baptismal invitation and they accepted for the 21 of April!!! :) Miracles!!!! :) It was SOOO much fun I just love them so much!!! :) So now we still have our faithful Ally and Lilley set, also Alex and hopefully the rest of Nancy's children, and now brother and sister Haas:) So the Lord has been very merciful unto us and has been blessing us greatly as of late!!! So please pray for these brothers and sisters of ours! They do have some concerns that we have been helping them with but they are all so great and so sincere!! :)
So this last week was another great week and was another one that just flew by!!!! :) So much happens all the time but it goes so fast it's unreal!!! Thank you all for all that you do for me and for your love, support, and prayers!!! Have a wonderful week and may the Lord be with you in all that you do I LOVE YOU!!!! :)

Love Elder Devey
